Website hosting isn't like it used to be. I was very very broke when I got into this business over 10 years ago. I paid monthly for my web hosting and dreaded the beginning of the month when I had to send in the next payment. I really was unsure about my direction in life. I often had to rethink my whole career because I figured if I couldn't scrape together enough money to pay my hosting fees each month, was I just fooling myself?
It's not hosting cost a ridiculous amount of money. They cost me just shy of $15 per month. But I still had troubles paying it. The hosting company would routinely take my sites down until I caught back up with my payments.
